📑 Directions

  1. Preheat over to 325F
  2. Heat oil/fat in Dutch oven.
  3. Sprinkle beef with salt and sear.
  4. When browned, set aside
  5. In same pot, add onion and salt until soft
  6. Add garlic, paste, thyme, pepper, and cook for another minute or two
  7. Deglaze with red wine by scraping Dutch oven with wooden spoon
  8. Add beef bones/stock to pot, bring to simmer, cover, put in oven until tender (approx 2.5 hours)
